- Here we are 2013. A whole new year, with many pages to be written on.
- This weekend I will work De-Christmasing the house.
- I want to go through all my ornaments and carefully put the ones I like away, and perhaps donate some others.
- I really need to lighten my load of ornaments.
- I would love to find LED lights for my Christmas window candles. The current bulbs get so hot and when I untwist them at night I burn my fingers!
- Hubby wanted me to ski today, but the temperature is supposed to be well below zero (f) and I do not freeze ski.
- I also will be seeing a cardiologist tomorrow, and I would hate to get to my appointment exhausted from skiing.
- I stopped in at the local grocery store today, to find out they were opening a pharmacy there.
- I was interested because our insurance changed for our prescriptions. So I stopped to talk.
- Soon they issued me a swag bag full of goodies!
- A pill container, a kit for taking on travels. Tissues and the cutest little tote bag!
- I’m starting to feel old.
- You know this when the bright spot in your day is getting a medical swag bag!

I got up this morning and came out to the living room. NO tree to turn on, no decorations to look at. All are safely stored until next year. It looks empty around here. I told Ron, one day closer to putting up the tree and decorating for Christmas 2013. LOL! Love YOU, Mel
re: #3 – lol too funny, I did the same thing. There were quite a few decorations from the Blake & Michael eras…of no use anymore!
re: #5 – I found the prettiest battery operated flickering candles (I THINK they were $6/each) this year. You turn them on when it gets dark (say 5 pm) and turn them off 5 hours later the first time, then they will remember to turn on and off at those hours ever after (or til you have to change the battery LOL). They looked lovely and very real.
Wow ! you are in the snow !! And I was sitting in 25°C sunshine ! but tomorrow it’s over, I am flying home !
Hopefully, the Cardiologist appointment was ok??
