We visited Berlin right after the fall of the Wall. Hubby and I climbed up on top of the Wall in front of the Brandenburg Gate and took pictures, as we reveled in the freedom of the German people!!
Oh my God, Maribeth! How awesome that you stood on the Berlin Wall! I am so impressed, you are so Worldly! Great for the hunt this week too! My hunt is up, come on over and go back into time with me….lol
Wonderful interpretation of “free” !! Much better then all the American flags I saw today, lol !
It must have been very emotional to have been there just in this historical moment !!

What a grand take on the theme! and you were right there, thats awesome. I remember the news, I was living in Hamburg at the time, only 3 hours away from Berlin
