I am so happy today, as Hubby came in and told me about 10:30 last night that he had won the bid on Ebay for a pair of Latte mugs in my dish pattern. I have wanted these mugs for a while now, and I am so happy about this purchase!
I feel so sad for the people down south who are contending with the aftermath of the Hurricane. It’s terrible to see the shattered areas. And I just could not believe my ears when I heard about “looting” in New Orleans! Have these people no shame?
I’m feeling fine today so I think maybe I was just tired and even might have picked up a little virus or something. I am just happy that I am back to normal today! : ~ )
We had rain here last night that was so hard I could not believe it! The worst part? There was no forecast of this weather. Our wonderful New Hampshire news was too busy hyping the Hurricane down south to talk about our own weather up here. I shake my head in wonder at their lack of professionalism!
Enough griping for today. I have cleaning to do as I continue to get ready for Alaska!

It’s been so long since I watched news that when I turned on the tv this morning, I couldn’t bear it, and turned it off in under 2 minutes. Talk about drama queens!
I LOVE mugs that are big like that. I hate those tiny tea cups that you can finish in one gulp!
