On May 31st, at 2:32 PM, my first grand-daughter, Savannah Rose took her first breaths and cries as her parents welcomed her into the world.
She was three weeks early, and weighed in at 7 pounds and 15 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long. Her Mom and Dad were together in the delivery room, as Mandy had a cesarean section.
All of them are well now and you can see the proud Papa holding his girl!
Mandy needed her rest after the big event, so I promised no pictures until she gets some sleep. But for now, I must say, holding my little grand-daughter made me feel like life just doesn’t get any better than this!
