Friday Fill-Ins

And…here we go!

1. Why is it that you always forget one thing to buy at the grocery store, and when you go back for that one thing, you buy six?.
2. How on earth did my pants suddenly go from fitting me perfectly to being super tight, that’s what I want to know!
3. Hold on I’m making a nice stir fry now and we can eat in a minute. (It was very good!).
4. Christmas will be here very soon.
5. Do you set up Christmas decorations even though your kids are all grown up?.
6. I live, I laugh, and I love.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watching more movies through Amazon Prime, tomorrow my plans include working on the Christmas letter and Sunday, I want to address Christmas cards!

  1. Your days are very full, my friend. Take time to smell the roses. Yes, tree goes up every year. Hoping to get cards done this year – have the best of intentions. Plan to travel to englewoodd Saturday to see the traveling version of Vietnam Wall – wich I expect will be an emotional event – my generation.

  2. I ordered my cards, decorations are up, and I have a few things done for gifts. I have much to do and today I am tired so I may take a small break after I make meatballs. Love YOU, Mel

  3. I always have and always will have some sort of Christmas decorations up! I bought a groupon this morning for $40 for Wagon Wheel Nursery in Lexington…they have GORGEOUS trees, so I guess we’ll be getting a real tree this year 🙂

  4. My mom tried not decorating one year and my kids got mad at her. I think you can tone it down depending on your circumstances from year to year. I read all your other comments and feel so behind on cards and stuff this year!!

  5. Just bought my Christmas stamps today so I’m hoping to get my cards in the mail too. Have a nice weekend Maribeth! Our little town has a German Christmas market this weekend-it’s a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to that.
