Slow & Easy Sunday

I decided that today I would slowly do the things I needed to do and if they got done, great and if not, well, that’s okay too.
I started the day by getting the laundry down to the basement. Sorting it, and then getting it all going.
Next was the ironing. Actually, I don’t mind doing that on a hot day like this. (another over 90 degree day) My ironing board is in the basement and it is blessedly cool down there. I didn’t have too much, so that was done quickly.
Then I got out the clippers and gave Shubi another hair cut. Her hair had grown so much in a month and she really needed this trim. She was so good and now she is all smooth and sleek.

Hubby has been working on the lawn. I think he is crazy. It is just too darn hot out there, but he never listens to me, and is doing it anyway.
I’m making slow cooker barbecued pork ribs. Basically you toss the pork ribs in your slow cooker with your favorite barbecue sauce. Turn on low and cook all day. They are so tender almost like pulled pork. It’s so easy, and that’s dinner tonight.
I go for my check up with the Retinal Surgeon tomorrow. I hope to get some good news from him. We shall see.
Well back to folding socks!

  1. Best of luck tomorrow. Sounds like you did quite a bit today to me. Slow and easy? Not so sure. The weather IS quite brutal. I mean I know I complain all winter about wanting it to be warmer but I really do not remember saying I wanted high 90’s with brutal humidity. Blech!
