Sunday morning I woke up at 7 AM! I was shocked that the puppies and Anneliese allowed me to sleep in. Could it have been the dark skies and pouring rain? Perhaps, but whatever the reason I was grateful.
Of course, cleaning up the puppy room and then feeding the little buggers proved to be a challenge. I got it down and by 7:30 was sitting having my first cup of coffee.
The kids arrived after breakfast to play with the pups, and we played taking picture after picture of the little darlings. I then began to reflect upon life. And that’s when I put together this short video.
The pups came in for a little nap and I was sitting enjoying a nice strong cup of coffee, when the kids came back and we took the puppies outside in the emerging sunshine. I wanted to work with them and the deer hide, so I was able to snap some more (and even cuter) pictures.
Baerbel, Baron and Ali (Birgit).
The sun is setting and Grandma Greta and I have decided to call it a day. The special little creatures are bringing such joy into our lives.
Maybe they become long sleepers now ? Good for you !
If you want to see some pictures of the Sahara I took during our excursion in jeep and on camel to watch a sunset, it’s here http://gattinatravels.blogspot.com/. I think I have never seen such a special beautiful landscape !
I LOVE the video. Wonderful! The pups are just the sweetest and most adorable pups in the world. Love YOU, Mel
Hi Mom,
They pups are so adorable! π
All is fairly well on my end. Had a convertible snafu this weekend. Saturday night, I went to put the top down (which tucks into the trunk, and then the trunk closes), except this time, the trunk did not close! So I took M’s car today, and he is trying to figure out what can be done with mine!
I had a lazy weekend, which was exactly what I needed. I slept alot, watched some episodes of a show called The Wire (on DVD), and did stuff around the house. We went grocery shopping yesterday, so I made us a nice dinner of steak (for M) and potatoes and corn on the cob. Not so diet friendly, and I need to start thinking more like that again. I have also put back on a few pounds, that I need to start taking off again. I guess a constant struggle!
Hope you have a great day today.
Love you lots,
Mandy
The pups are so freakin’ adorable. I want to come and get one… or all of them π
Glad you got some extra sleep!!
Ali’s sweet little face puts me in mind of Shubi. How fast they do grow. Great pups, one and all.
