The One About Hair

Two years ago I went in to have my hair done. I wanted a light trim and a little color, to perk me up. That day changed the way I was going to look at my hair for the foreseeable future!

The hair stylist, and I use that term lightly, butchered my hair. I had literally an inch left all over my head! I cried. I came home and Hubby didn’t know what to say. Both of us knew though, that it wasn’t good. I cried some more!

That day I called another hair stylist to correct the color. Her name was Margarita and she has been doing my hair ever since. She knew I wanted to grow it out, and so you can see how in two years things have changed on my head! I love Margarita and I love how she is helping to keep my hair shaped while it grows.

Hair

I’m still not done growing it out. I want to grow it another 4-6 inches. I want really long hair again. When I first met Hubby all those years ago my hair was nearly down to my waist! I don’t think I will let it get that long, but…

you never know!

  1. Yep, I agree. Feb 2006 was definitely TOO short and TOO dark. I like the lighter color much better on you… especially in the picture Nov 2007 🙂 I adore this photo!

  2. Oh I think that since ‘THAT’ cut, it is all looking a lot better…

L has long hair, down to her waist, and I HATE it! She is thinking of getting it cut, has a few styles under consideration, but she is just not sure…

In a couple of weeks we will know for sure!

  3. I think only a few women look good with very short hair… I am letting mine grow too only mine is very (like very!) straight and it’s about your length now too!!
Your November picture is very cute, the hair color suits you perfectly!

  4. I always had a short hair cut but I have to admit that your’s was really too short and the color dull and not nice at all ! what a butcher !
I like your hairstyle of Nov 07, that suits you really very well. I don’t know how long hairs look (from a certain age on, lol) sometimes you can be disappointed because the past doesn’t come back. But giving a try doesn’t cost anything to cut it off goes quicker then let it grow !
