There are certain things I need to get done before the new windows go in next week, and of course, things that must be done before my surgery.
Today was a biggie! All my curtains and shades needed to come down and the hardware removed. My house looks so bare now with empty windows.
It also dawned on me that certain curtains had not been washed in a long time, so they are now actually in the dryer, all washed and fresh.
The windows will be installed next Monday and Tuesday. I am praying for a little bit of Indian Summer on the install days. I just put half a tank of heating oil in my fuel tank, and that was $750.00!
After that, I have a slew of doctor’s appointments and need to put my house back together before my knee replacement.
All this activity is keeping my mind off of the surgery. Actually, I am amazed at how calm I’ve been. I just know this is going to improve my life so much.
