Sunday In Puppyville

As promised I have pictures and a short montage of the puppies. They are the cutest things in the entire world and I keep thinking how lucky we are to have produced these splendid little creatures!

Today we got the exercise pen out and set up outside the door of the puppy room. This means I can open the door, and let them outside while I clean their box or mix their food, without worrying about them too much. It’s taking them a little while to get used to it, but this will be such a help for me now that these guys are so mobile.

The pen.

Exploring under the watchful eye of their Mom.

It seems the little ones are sleeping for an hour or two then up for two playing and then sleeping a little then up again raising all heck. It’s wonderful to watch even if it is a bit tiresome. I kid you not when I tell you that I am on my feet racing around most of the day. But happily so!

I have a new little friend who comes by. You will see her in the montage. Her name is Makenna and she is the daughter of our neighbors. She is almost seven years old and quite a joy to have around.

Have a great week everyone!

  1. What beautiful creatures-all of them. The pups look so playful-rady to rock and roll. heir faces are very expressive.

  2. I love the slide show, nice music too and those pups are just beautiful! Love YOU, Mel

  3. Hi Mom,

I will give you a buzz on my way home tonight! Sorry I didn’t call after returning from my trip. I was very busy, and initially very distracted and tired upon my return!

The trip went well, though. Will look forward to catching up!

    xo

    Love,

    Mandy

  4. How sweeeeeeet! Makenna looks like she is very good with them! If I can only barely handle ONE Luz, I am never having FOUR puppies!

  5. They are so funny and your neighbor is a very cute young lady. Hang in there, kiddo and enjoy your puppies as much as you like. Trust me the housework will still be there waiting for you.

  6. It really looks like a playpen for toddlers, lol ! and they are also poor orphans concerning toys ! No wonder that the little girl loves to come and visit you !
The house will seem very empty to you the day they are all gone. How old they must be btw ?

  7. Hi — Love seeing pictures of our girl. I am glad to see your little neighbor girl cuddling with them. Faith is really looking forward to cuddling wtih Ali. We are all excited about getting her and can’t wait to bring her home. They are all beautiful! Smiles — The Reeds
