Oh Maribeth I have a weight problem too, If I eat everything I like I am a whale. I am so proud of myself I always keep that in mind but last jan. I had to go on the scale and it as a bit to the wrong side:) So I started to eat more healthy stuff & reguarly, no weight watchers for me. I know what my problem is the wrong in betweens. To sweet to much calories! I lost not much but from 79kg to 72.6kg today is fine with me. I will get to the 70 kilo but the last 2 are the hardest it seems!
About our Teckels: Saartje is due 16 august Lucky it’s not so warm here in Holland I hope it stays that way. I hope Anneliese (hey looks like Annemiek!) have a good birth … and I dont know if you knew that some dogmothers who had just one pup could nurse their pup till death… so keep that in mind. That was happenend at a German Dachshund breader, who’s pup was realy licked to dead from the over licking of the motherdog… But hey that’s that dog and Anneliese will be a great mother, think positive is better! I never had visits from friend till the pups are like 3 weeks that works good with us; we always have easy, ruhige, stabiele, balanced pups and it’s so much better for the mother and the many (deadly) virusses you get in your house… But you know that of course. So Janet sorry you have to wait a little! hahahah No Iam just kidding, everybody has it’s own way of breeding and ours is absolute quietness in the house the first weeks. It’s also couse I hear a lot from other breeders in Holland & Germany so I keep that in mind, learn and follow my own plan…
