Back In The Saddle Again

I got some new clothes today in the mail. Two pair of pants and a top and sweater. that I’d gotten them at an extremely low price as they were clearance items. Everything fit just fine, but the pants would look, oh so much better, if I lost 5 pounds. Just 5 pounds, I know. I said this to Hubby and he sort of snickered at me!

Now Hubby is really good about things. All the while I’ve been going to Weight Watchers, he’s been encouraging me and praising me, but I have to admit, I’ve been going no where fast since Christmas!

So, I started journaling my food again. Writing everything down, and weighing and measuring everything. And I know that I have to do this at every meal I prepare.

Oh why couldn’t I have been born with an incredibly fast metabolism?

  1. It’s sad that the fashion is to be almost skinny, lol ! In times of Rubens it was nice for women with weight problems, lol ! Slim was considered ugly !

  2. Keep hanging in there, it’s worth the work and fight to keep healthy and you have a grand baby coming and so much ahead of you to enjoy!!! Love YOU, Mel

  3. Have you tried My Fitness Pal.com ? It´s where I track my food and it´s so much more convenient than writing everything by hand. Good luck!

  4. Hi Maribeth,
    do not think about weight.
The more you think about it, the worse it will be to feel fit.
