This & That
- I woke on Tuesday to lightly falling snow. As the morning went on, the snow got heavy for a while, before it lightened up.
- The biggest problem for the snowfall is the Pond Hockey Tournament this weekend at the lake near my home. Here is a picture taken from an aircraft above my home. My house cannot be seen on this picture, but it is close!
- We were thrilled to have the driveway clear, once again. But now, the driveway has three inches on it!
- I watched “Say Yes To The Dress” today and there was this mother on it, who was just tearing down her daughter’s attempts to find a dress! Oh yeah, I wanted to slap that mother! How could anyone be that cruel to their child?
- I cannot believe that today is February 2nd! Where has the time gone already?
- Our vacation is just a mere month away! Woo-hoo!!!
- Our new chairs should be here in another 3-4 weeks. I can hardly wait!
- The dogs have all gotten bones and the dackels are happily gnawing them. Fritz, however, doesn’t like rawhide.
- Are any of you as sick of politics as I am? We’ve already had our primary and yet we are still getting all the political ads on the TV. Give me a break!
- Someone asked me the other day, “Why on earth do you have four dogs?” My answer was simple. “Why not?”
- I also look at them and think, “Which one would I ever get rid of, anyway?”
- I have decided I need a hobby. One that takes me away from the computer.
- Shopping for a baby girl perhaps?
Absolutely shopping for a baby girl. We will find out next Mon. what Matt & Meg are expecting but I already have a “shower treasure box” started of gender neutral finds. Happy hunting. (Found bibs embroidered with things like “grandam loves me” and “grandma ssid I could” etc.
The snows have just continued to pass us by this winter. It was 50 here yesterday! Baby girl shopping sounds like a fabulous hobby : )
Wow, I am late today. Happy Ground Hog’s Day! Looks like 6 more weeks of winter. If it stays like this than that is A-Okay. Love YOU, Mel
baby girl shopping for sure!
Shopping for a baby, any baby, could be an expensive option!!! :p
I’d say some photography… Your skills in portraits might be needed soon enough 😉
Whats the go with Groundhog Day… Is it myth or fact?? Making news here…
Of course you could baby girl shop from your computer….! I think anything that does not involve work is just fine by me. And I am soooo sick of politics. So glad only one party is having a primary, I would shoot the tv and computers if they both were. Enough already!
