- I weighed 9 lbs and 1 ounce when I was born.
- All my mother’s babies looked alike, so it’s a good thing they dated photo’s back then or we wouldn’t know who was who.
- I had my appendix out just before I turned 4 years old.
- I was supposed to be a flower girl in a wedding at that time, but couldn’t as I was still in the hospital.
- I remember tripping on the stairs when I got home, and crying cause my finger was bleeding.
- I yelled to my mother that I was bleeding and she thought my incision had opened.
- It’s no wonder her hair started to go gray at an early age.
- I was in The King & I, playing the King’s youngest child.
- One night I missed my mark and the curtain closed with me on the outside with the audience!
- I bowed and went off the stage!
- My next community theater play was The Sound of Music. I played Gretel.
- The Captain was supposed to carry me over the mountain on his shoulders, but I was afraid of heights!
- So the dear man carried me safely in his arms!
Next Thursday, I’ll answer your questions. So, please leave me a question in your comment and I will do my best to answer them all.

I was so worried about you when you had your appendix out. I thought it was my fault for some reason! I was just a kid and I guess kids just think like that.
Whose wedding was it? I don’t remember that part! Love YOU, Mel
That was interesting, reading about you as a child.
My question is this. You haven´t written about your eyes recently. How are they? Have they gotten better after your last operation? I hope so!
