1. My daughter2 is graduating from university this month and plans to teach elementary school. What are three qualities you most want to see evidenced in a teacher?
Positive energy, kindness and the ability to challenger her students.
2. You can tell a lot about a person by
How they treat their animals, or if in fact they have animals. One person, that I thought was very nice, came to my house, and treated my animals so badly, that it immediately turned me off.
3. What song makes you think spring?
Warm temperatures and blooming fruit trees!!!
4. May 1st is Mother Goose Day…share your favorite nursery rhyme.
In the 1830s, Lowell Mason set the nursery rhyme to a melody adding repetition in the verses:
Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day
which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play,
to see a lamb at school.
And so the teacher turned it out,
but still it lingered near,
And waited patiently about,
till Mary did appear.
“Why does the lamb love Mary so?”
the eager children cry.
“Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know.”
the teacher did reply.
5. What makes someone unforgettable?
Their beautiful soul and the kindness of their spirit.
6. Should music and/or art be part of a well rounded education?
Yes! I’m so sad that so many towns have discontinued these programs.
7. What social situations make you flustered or nervous?
Large groups. I’m fine in small numbers, but in large groups I get very nervous.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
My fever is gone and I am feeling a little better! Yay! The seedlings are sprouting, and the other plants (tomato) continue to grow. One more month and we plant in the garden!

I’m glad you’re feeling better! I can’t wait for garden tomatoes-one of my favorite things about summer : )
Glad you are feeling better! 🙂 Love YOU, Mel
#2, sorry, can you ever forgive me???
Good that you are feeling better ! Teacher is a nice job for a mother she has the same holidays than her kids !
Glad to hear that you’re on the road to recovery! Feeling badly is the pits! I don’t do well in large social situations, either.
