I was pretty busy this weekend, putting up jams and peach halves. I also was cleaning quite a bit more than usual. Why? Well, have you ever noticed that you clean a bit more when you have guests coming?
On Friday Janet and Dave came for the night. We were supposed to go out for dinner with them, and another couple, Robin and Jay, but my tooth was bothering me, so I cancelled.
On Saturday morning Janet and Dave left after breakfast and the work began. You see I needed to make more spaghetti sauce, and to also do the prep work for the peach heavenly jam! I was literally, on my feet all day.
However, I got a lot put away for the winter, and tomorrow Hubby and I will finish making the peach jam.
Monday I will see the Endodontist and we will see what he says about my tooth. I am hoping for only good news!
Life is floating by us, with the mid point of August telling us that soon summer will be over, the Tourists will go home, and my little town will quiet down once again.
AND my pickles came out great!!!
