And…here we go!
1. Oh, I am so tired after cooking the Thanksgiving meal. I wonder how much more tired I would be if I didn’t have Hubby, Dave and Isaiah helping me before and Janet after.
2. Hands down, it was the chestnut stuffing. Second was the brussel sprouts with onion, bacon and chestnuts was my favorite part of the big meal yesterday.
3. Where does Arnie disappear to when he is in the field. One moment he is gone and the next he pokes his head up, as if to say hello!
4. The plum pudding was filled with dried fruit.
5. This weather is giving me chapped lips and hands. I guess winter is here.
6. Health, happiness and love; these are some of the things I wish for my loved ones.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to some down time. In fact this weekend aside from doing laundry I plan nothing else. I’m really over tired, tomorrow my plans include again, very little and Sunday, I want to organize the leftovers!
I am sure it was yummy.
You could send some left-overs to us. 😉 If only that would be possible,…
I think you need some rest after all this cooking !
Mike made the Brussel Sprouts. He roasted them with olive oil and a little maple syrup and salt too. They were just wonderful! Off for our overnight get away in a bit. Love YOU, Mel
get your rest 🙂 Talk to you soon!
Chestnut stuffing? OOOOH you need to share a recipe me thinketh!!
I, too, ALWAYS get the dried chapped hands and elbows! My dermatologist said to use Eucerin and it’s helped TREMENDOUSLY. 🙂 Just thought I’d pass that along! 🙂 (just don’t use it on your face!)
