A New Life

As we bid Steve Irwin goodbye and felt the tears in our eyes and hearts, I received an email and pictures from my best friend, Uschi in Berlin. Her grandson arrive tonight , (September 5th) at 9:15 PM. This is her daughter’s first child and his name is Anton Paul.

You see, dear readers, life goes on. One life passes and another comes into the world. It gives me hope. Hope that even though there are times of great sadness, if we but wait a moment, great happiness will be ours again.

Welcome, sweet Anton! Congratulations to my dear Uschi!!!

  3. Hello everybody,
thank you so much for your nice and warm words because of the birth of our grandson Anton Paul Oskar. I can´t hardly explain my feelings. My heart is full of love to him and our daughter who was so brave. I appreciate it very much she wanted me by her side when she delivered our grandson. I am proud on her as much as a mother can be!
Best regards to all of you,
    Uschi

  4. Congratualtions to Uschi and to you. I just love new babies and the wonder of watching them. It is soooo fascinating. As long as I can give them back when they start to scream!

  5. When a new life is born, we live moments of maximum joy and happiness but when a life is passing, the moments are of maximum sadness. But maybe God takes care to balance the most important moments of our lives. The baby is stunning. Congratulations to Uschi!
