Puppy Prescription

There are days when each of us doesn’t feel too well. A cough, a sniffle, a little cold. Today was a day like that for me. I felt run down, and quite tired and all the color had vanished from my face. I slept in a little after helping Hubby get off for a morning of skiing, and then when I got up and showered and dressed, I sat back down not wanting to do much at all.

However my little friends wanted to play and before I knew it, they had me laughing and smiling with their antics, their kisses and yes, running around the puppy room like little hellions.

It sure did pick up my spirits.

  1. I worked from home today because I felt like I have a cold coming on. Mind you I’ve felt that way for weeks. Still it was a good day to spend in bed with my ‘Doodle’ at my side and ‘Puppydog’ at my feet. I got a lot of work done and surprisingly, neither of them barked when I was on my conference calls! LOL

  2. Send some of that cold our way, we’re sweltering her in Brisvegas!!! Those puppies are sooooo cute!

You should update your picture with your longer hair!!

  3. Awww puppy kisses!!! #2 is my favourite. They’re so darling, Maribeth!!! I so wish I could have one. (Not to worry, I shall live vicariously through you and the ever wonderful Greta!)

  4. Morning Mom,
Hope you are feeling better! How are the skiing conditions up north? I have a few people in my office who were curious…..
What are your plans for the weekend? Send me an email to let me know. If I can coordinate and our times match well, I may try to take a quick trip up to visit (if not, want to try to plan for the next few weeks!)
    Have a great day!
    Love,
    Mandy

  5. You do look washed out and pale. You take care of yourself and enjoy that puppy love. Best wishes that you feel better real soon. Love reading your blog everyday!
    Hugs,
    Trish

  6. There is nothing like a lively puppy to bring forward the joy of life in any one of us! Who can stay down when they’re showing all that happiness and joy? It’s impossible!

That was the main reason why I loved my former dog so much, he was very lively until the day he passed away, or the last minute actually and always made me laugh.
