Once a year spring happens. In my little part of the world this means lilacs, snowball bushes, tulips, forsythia and best of all the blossoms on the fruit trees. If we’re lucky, this will be spread out over several weeks, but due to a rather wacky weather pattern this spring, we have had a two-three week period of blossoms. I actually missed the peach trees blossoming because this happened while I was recovering from my eye surgery.
In the last few days several of my favorites have finally come into their glory and I went out and snapped a few pictures.

I also enjoy the way the grass somehow goes from dead looking brown straw to rich emerald green carpeting!
Being able to sit on the front steps of my house and enjoy these beautiful coral colored sunsets simply takes my breath away.
What beautiful flowers! I missed seeing lilacs around here, there weren’t many bushes!
Oh dear your blossoms are so very spectacular!! You have a beautiful home also. I would say you are very blessed!
Hugs,
Trish
OH, I love the lilacs 🙂
Thank you for lovely pics of spring flowers – the growing things I miss most living here in FL. Of course, you are one of the people I miss most. Love you. Carol
i LOVE the pictures..they are beautiful!
Beautiful flowers!! And that sunset you captured is amazing 🙂
Pink flowers and a sunset. What great pictures.
How beautiful. Our rhododendrons are spent now and the and snowball usually bloom at the end of April. Isn’t it amazing the difference in the climate.
Those are beyond gorgeous! What a view!
