Fritz and I took a walk around the yard with the video camera today. I wanted to show you all how deep the snow is. What I found was deep snow, and places where the snow had drifted in and I suddenly found myself sinking up to my thighs!
The wind was blowing hard, so the audio isn’t the best. Please forgive me! But I did try to narrate so you would know what you were seeing. I also made a few mistakes with my English, thus proving that ones native language is not always easily spoken! LOL
So, without further ado, may I present, New Hampshire’s near record breaking snow!
The vid was great and the very best documentation for the snow record!
It’s amazing you have that much and then in Oslo, Norway we are feeling spring is in the air and we’ve been to the beach today.
I envy you still!
Wishing you a lovely Sunday evening and a great week ahead 🙂
my god! so much snow!
! I really can’t believe that amount of snow!!
I thought we had a lot of snow here. We’ve gotten 80 inches (and can you believe that now it’s raining with thunder???) But my apartment isn’t buried so I guess we haven’t gotten as much as you!
I have to put back my eyes, they popped out ! You are almost burried in the snow !! This video is really very good to show us your situation. And did your poor hubby do all the cleaning up for a little way through this mass ? Really it’s unbelievable.
I am happy to hear that you have a very good accent for me to understand. Like the queen’s english with a little american accent. Sometimes I really have difficulties especially with people from the south and those in Texas I can’t understand at all !!
Wow Maribeth..Its going to be 72 here today. but it’ll snow on Tuesday…
Rinforces why we live here in Florida. I really enjoy the beauty of snow but do not enjoy the cold or shoveling. The song says it best, “Different strokes for different folks.” Carol
Great video! It looks like you’ll be snowed in for awhile. It looks so pretty and is really amazing.
I’m laughing at what Carol said…I’d rather deal with snow than hurricanes!
Fritz was a great model, btw, looks like he was having a BALL romping around!
I can’t believe your white landscape!! and we had a bbq in our deck yesterday…
My in-laws had to deal with lots of snow this year too. Overwhelming that it’s snowing there and we are in the 70’s already here in Dubai! We’ll hit the beach this weekend. Keep warm, Maribeth!
All I can say is WOW…. I saw so much snow when I was a child. But here in Berlin we never have had so much snow…
Thank goodness. Not only that you have to work so hard… what a mess when the snow will melt…
Love Uschi
I was thinking the same as what Uschi mentioned – about what’s going to happen when all this melts!! Will it all just flow into the lake??
