Just A Little Thing

I had to go in for a little procedure today at the hospital. All went well and I am in good shape, but the anesthesia they used just knocked me on my backside! I can’t seem to really wake up.  I slept a long time at the hospital, and once I got home and into my pajamas, I kept nodding off in my chair.

Arnie has been my constant companion since I got back and when I curled up in my chair and slept, he climbed up on the footrest of the chair and guarded me. Am I a lucky Mommy or what?

Before I went in I had showered and decided to blow my hair dry straight. So I’m asking which style do you prefer straight or curly?

The puppies behaved for Hubby and the other dogs as well. So I was able to rest and relax. I am glad, however, that this test is over!

So gentle readers, forgive me for the brevity of this post. I promise more pictures tomorrow of Baron and Baerbel.

  1. Curly! But you always look cute as a button anyway.

Glad the procedure went well. I know what you mean about the anesthesia. I was just useless the day I had mine and couldn’t remember a thing.

  2. Girrrrrrl… you are MADE to be a curly locks! I’m glad everything went well! All done for another 5 years – right?

  3. anesthesia can be harsh on a body! It could have been much worse…some people have horrible reactions. Just being sleepy is not so bad, though it’s still frustrating, I’m sure!

    I adore your curls!!!

  4. I am having a hard time telling which is the straight one! I like it either way apparently.

When we were on the cruise I had some of those things you stick behind your ear so you don’t get sea sick. I had done very well without them until the last night when the seas were very high. In my infinate wisdom I thought it might be better to cut one in half…you know only about 8 hours worth would do me just fine. It was not a good thing to do and if you ever even think of doing something like that my friend who is an RN told me what an idiot I was and that I was lucky to be alive. When I cut the silly thing it let out all the medicine that was for THREE days. Good thing hubby got us home. I would not have been able to drive at all. And am very happy to still be living. Just one of those FYI things to share.

  5. I agree with Amber… I have a hard time telling which one is straight, your hair looks curly to me in both 😉
But I like the second ‘do, because it looks more pronounced!
