The day dawned early and the dogs and I were up and outside. While they ran around and I stumbled about trying to drink my coffee and wake up. Thankfully, the caffeine kicked in and I began to come to.
Breakfast was made, dogs were fed too, and then I went about running errands with Gail. Post Office, Dry Cleaners, and UPS. Everything went well, and then we got home with plenty of time to make a great light lunch.
After lunch I was reaching down to pat Greta’s growing belly when Hubby told me that she’s got milk.
Milk? Already?
Sure enough, I checked and Greta is all ready to nurse her babies! Amazing how quickly it has come on with her second pregnancy.
It won’t be long now until we have to set up the puppy room, yet again to prepare for another litter of wild and wonderful dackel babies!!!
Anneliese is returning to her usual self. She is losing the baby weight, and once again acting like a puppy herself!
So now I start letting people know that I’ll have puppies ready to go in November. I’m also going to a workshop on Saturday to learn more about training puppies for tracking. It should be interesting.
Gail leaves me tomorrow. I’ll be driving her to the airport in the morning for her trip home. It will seem so strange when she has left us. It’s been so much fun having her around!
Glad to hear that you and Gail had a nice trip together! My newly resumed diet is going very well, and that is encouraging! Much easier to get on the horn the second time around! 🙂 lol.

Oh I haven’t been by in so long! I read down and caught up though! I’ve never had eggplant pizza – that looked good – but not nearly as good as Gail’s veggie pizza! Eggplant is not an option in these parts! I am jealous as ANYthing over $3.99 lobster! Holy moley! $8.99 here! I don’t waste my money cuz I’m the only one that really LIKES lobster… on the rest it truly IS a waste!

I don’t know can you drink a glass of dog milk until the babies arrive ??? (hehehe) I always have a stitch in my heart when I hosted a friend ! But then we both think it was so nice we do it again. I am so happy to go to my friend Anne on Monday, it’s just great with her and Doug, I really feel home with them and we have so much fun together ! I will post then from England. With the Eurostar it is so quick ! 1 1/2h Brussels London ! unbelievable. It takes more time to go from here to the other end of Brussels !
My you’ve been busy lately. Gail really lucked out coming this week with all this glorious sunshine. My sister-in-law arrives tomorrow with her husband and new baby, and right after she leaves Jay and I are heading to Maine for our own little getaway, but we will definitely get-together when we get back!
PS Which beach is “yours”? I don’t think we’ve been going to the same one. We’ve been doing the beach here on the smaller lake and the boat on the bigger one.
