I got a surprise today from far away! My best friend, Uschi sent me a bouquet of roses from Germany! They arrived just at the right moment to make me feel very happy and much loved!

I do not do quiet well. In fact, aside from my 1 hour a day during the week when I watch “All My Children” on TV, I am usually puttering around keeping busy.
However, since the doctor has forbidden me to do much for a few days, I spent the day sitting, cuddling with dogs, and well, not doing much.
That is, until the idea hit me! Why not Christmas shop? All I needed was a computer, a credit card and the ability to make a list of people to buy for.
I found some great deals, and fabulous surprises for the ones I love. I didn’t get it all done, but I did get a lot of it done, and that made me very happy.
I also spoke to my house sitter and she is coming over on Friday to go over everything with Jack and I for the upcoming trip that we will go on in 9 days!
Hubby is doing the chest therapy for me, by pounding on my back to loosen the congestion in my lungs. Fritz and Arnie do not like that at all! They both come running and try to stop Hubby by using their noses. Ah, my wonderful boys!
Hubby went out and did the grocery shopping today and bought enough dog food for a month. We will not have to worry about them running out of food while we are gone. He also brought home the most wonderful swordfish ever and we enjoyed that.
Well, time to rest again and get well. I refuse to get any sicker and by tomorrow I want to be feeling a lot better!!!

Wow ! what a beautiful surprise ! I do Christmas shopping the whole year around, especially when I was in Morocco or now in Egypt. Each time I see something that I am sure it would please I buy it. I have a little place where I put all the gifts for family and friends.

Happy to hear you are following MD orders for a change–pneumonia can be hard to kick. Lots of fluids also help liquify junk in lungs-drink, drink, drink, of course water or juice. Bubbly is for the cruise. Love the flowers. Kudos to Uschi!!!

I do 90% of my Christmas shopping online. I did finally buckle down and do a little bit of it yesterday. Mostly I’m still waiting on lists from the kids.
I DO hope those antibiotics kick in soon! You need to get on to the “getting better” portion of this program! 9 days! ACK! Sending prayers!

hi guys noah just called to let me know that you texted again. He is at home watching the fight on paper view with friends. Me and the puppy pack are watching Polar Express. they are all doing fine Arnie has not chatteres at all. Fritzy wore classes this am. and Annalisa is being a sweet little girl that I dont recognise and Miss Greta is in her glory being the ruler of all babies in the house and of coarse the servant she allows to sleep in her bed. Greta is a little bummed out that Noah is not here. It was quite funny last night sleeping with all the kids they are not use to someone ealse being here with me althoughe thay are ajusting well. They seem to enjoy Noah’s company too. Noah has quikly learned why I love them all so much. Last night was funny. Annalisa slept curled up like my teddy bear close to me, Mr.Arnie was inbetween us with his head on my pillow and Miss Greta was in the bend of my knees mind you all under the covers. I was baking they are so warm, I was over heating. I hope you have a great day tomorrow. It is cold here but the stars are beautiful tonight. Good morning do you miss waking up with cold noses in your eyeballs yet. They are very prompt at waking up at 7:00 am but today they let me sleep in a bit till 7:10 am. They are all having fun. We are getting some snow and freezing rain today around 4:00. How is your trip going? Have your glasses stayed together? I am going to meat Noah at his moms for breakfast today. It should be fun I am still feeling her out not sure what she thinks of me although Noah says she likes me its kinda hard to tell. The first time I went to her house and she got me alone she insisted that I look at his wedding book that him and his xwife had done for them selves and their parents. She was shocked to think that I had already seen it. People are weird. I am still not sure why she did that, not like its a big deal but she could have waited till atleast the second encounter at her house. Have a great day enjoy the sun and have a magarita for me.
