So…here we go!
1. One of my strongest beliefs is…one day we will all be together again in a far better place.
2. The piece of cake I was served today was…huge!
3. The sky is cloudy with a threat of rain and wind and cold, so…I think I will curl up in my pajamas and read my book.
4. My faith in God…is comforting to me.
5. I always thought I’d be…a better Mom than I have been.
6. I thought of the people I love all around the world and I thought that no matter how far they are, we all see the same moon. It made me smile…and then I went outside to look at the full moon.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to…working on a new toy for Fritz…, tomorrow my plans include…sewing the new toy up…and Sunday, I want to…take one closet and clean it out!

Yeah, I just did that (cleaning out the closet) this week. I had so many clothes, which we are not wearing anymore! I brought them to the second hand/thrift store.
We have a “threat” of rain too, but I think it will blow over again…

I’m stuck at home today waiting on a repair man and I should take advantage of the time and clean out a closet too. Not my favorite task! So instead I’m reading blogs : )

You know, my first thought was to say “what makes you think you haven’t been a GREAT Mom?”… and I know you HAVE been… but then I realized that I always thought I would be a better mom than I have been too. I think we all do the best we know to do AT THE TIME… but with age and experience comes greater knowledge. And so then we realize that *sigh*… we could have done better.
I’m so glad I was NOT served a huge piece of cake today – or any cake at all! I’m ON TRACK so far today! 🙂
I live in Germany but Maribeth and Jack were so nice to show us a lot of nice parts in the USA. In 2002 they gave us the chance to see:
New Hamshire, Toledo Kanada, St. Louis, Branson, Memphis, Ashville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Chattanooga, Washington, Boston, Gettisburg and some more of intersting places. We appreciate it very much we got the chance to visit all the nice places together with our friends Maribeth and Jack. Thank you so much.
