You know me…I spend my weekends catching up on laundry and housework and almost always I am successful. I even did a major shelf cleaning and that was long overdue and much needed.
I even tried a new recipe for butternut squash, and although it was a good recipe, it still needs tweaking to make it just right.
I took Arnie out one day for a ride in the car and Anneliese the next. They love to go for rides, although Anneliese still has that barking issue going on.
I watched movies. Movies that I have seen before, but want to become more familiar with. Hubby thinks this is insane, but when a movie speaks to me, I want to look at it again and sometimes again, until I can see all that the writer and directer want me to see.
I also got out my MP3 player and listened to music while Hubby watched football. I enjoy watching our home team, but I am not a big fan of the sport in general, and our team plays later this week.
I’m still struggling with reading my book, but I have not given up. I may eventually give up, but for now, I am using a magnifying ruler and taking it line by line.

You can get a Kindle and get audio books too! I know it doesn’t work if they don’t have the title you want, but so far I have not been disappointed in mine! Love YOU, Mel
I also love to watch movies which I liked more than once ! why not ? I feel so sorry for you that you have such difficulties to read. Isn’t there nothing to do, special glasses perhaps ? My neighbor Vivi has the macula and also difficulties to read, fortunately it’s OK with the TV. She is the one I drive once a month to the hospital to get a shot in her eye.
