This week I want to catch you all up on what’s happening in my little corner of the world!
- I’ve been sick since I returned home from my cruise.
- I think it may have to do with the one bottle of water that I drank in Mexico.
- It said it was purified water, but…I know, I should have had a beer instead!
- I’m so sick, that I am actually going to the doctor tomorrow.
- I have decided that I will never again return to Mexico!
- Needless to say, I’ve lost weight at Weight Watchers for the last two weeks. I am one bacterial infection away from my goal weight!
- Now that we are home and not on vacation, the weather has been beautiful!
- The temperatures have been in the upper 70’s and low 80’s (f) each day!
- My flowers outside are blooming as is my Christmas Cactus! Go figure!
- I finished reading “The Vow”. I was speaking to my sister about how great the book is, (It’s a true story) and she wasn’t impressed. It turns out that they so seriously rewrote the movie, that is no longer resembles what really happens!
- We went and saw The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band last week! Great concert!
- The air conditioner went in to our bed room today.
- How can one handle high temperatures and hot flashes?

Even ice cubes are troublesome there. Hope you feel better soon. but I have to admit “I am one bacterial infection away from my goal weight!” is pretty funny.
I misread it as the air conditioner in the bed. that would be a solution for 13.

I recommend water by the bedside and a cool rag on the forehead for #13.
I think we should go back to waving fans like in Spain. I hope you feel better and I worry about going to Mexico ever.
Being sick is no fun, but congratulations on getting close to your goal weight!
