1. What’s the last job you did that required elbow grease?
I burned a stainless steal pot with (oh gosh, can’t recall) and I wasn’t sure how I was going to get it clean. It’s one of my favorite pots, and I use it a lot when I make my jams and jellies. Anyway, I went online and found step by step instructions on how to clean it, and I was amazed that it cleaned so easily. I have saved the instructions, because I just know I will do it again.
2. March Madness, aka the men’s Division I basketball championship, is nearing an end. What sort of ‘madness’ has your house seen this month?
I’ve been so ill that everything has sort of fallen apart. I have fed husband and dogs, and done a little laundry, but I have done far more sleeping.
3. What’s your favorite shop for browsing?
I love Coldwater Creek. But I also love Macy’s. And now I’m going to be a Grammie, Carters!
4. Is there ever a time when giving up makes sense?
No. I can speak from experience. You never know what’s around the corner!
5. What’s a song you love that contains the name of a city, state or country in its title?
“God Bless The USA” by Lee Greenwood.
6. When did you first begin using a computer?
When we first moved down to Florida, back in 1993-94. Hubby would go off to work, and I was alone. Hubby’s college room mate would email me, and he would ask questions that required a response. Before I knew it, I was writing to a dachshund club, then making banners. Well, let’s put it this way, I was hooked!
7. Did you buy girl scout cookies this year? What’s your favorite?
No I did not. Why? Well, because I love them! People say I should freeze them. Well, I love thin mints frozen. And a serving size? One sleeve on thin mints is a serving size!
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Okay. What happened to spring? Last week we had the most beautiful, warm, weather. The dogs, Hubby and I were enjoying the heat, I’d even started to think changing my closet around to some summer clothes. Now, overnight, we have freezing temperatures! All I can say is, C’mon, Mother Nature! I want springtime!!!
We are down to 11°C this morning, that´s pretty cold for us at this time of year. Maybe your cold weather will migrate south. 🙂
I love frozen cookies too. Nothing is safe from me when I´m hungry. 🙂
I did buy two boxes of cookies and here they sit. I think I have eaten two or three.
I am praying for a return to nice spring weather. I do not like the cold much anymore. Love YOU, Mel
You and I are on the same page with #’s 4 and 7! I can do some serious damage to a box of Thin Mints…have mercy!
#4 & #8 … ain’t that the truth!
Are you sure Mel is related to us? 😉
