And I am back! Finally. After feeling really truly ill, I am now over the worst of it and starting to feel human again. So here I go with my Thursday Thirteen List!
- On Tuesday I was feeling pretty good, so I started the big job of cleaning every thing!
- On Wednesday I even took apart the fridge and cleaned that!
- The laundry is getting done now.
- My Prime Rib is thawing for Easter!
- The vegetables will be, mashed yukon gold potatoes, green beans, maybe a little asparagus, butternut squash, and some pearl onions.
- My cousin Janet is making her special yeast rolls. These are totally amazing!
- She is also making coconut cupcakes!
- I went to Weight Watchers today. After being so ill, I did not lose anything! I told Hubby that my body is really good at self preservation! If I was somewhere and couldn’t get food, I’d last at least a year!
- I came home and moved furniture. I was so careful, so I did not hurt my back. All is well!
- I got my call to Jury Duty again. I will be called in May.
- Mandy has her 3-D ultra sound tomorrow and I am really excited. I get to go with her, her half sister, and Matt’s Mom! We’re meeting for lunch before, and making a real party out of it!
- My forsythia is starting to bloom. I sure hope we don’t have a hard frost!
- I’m trying out a new recipe for salmon fillets.ย If itย is good, I’ll post it!
Looking forward to seeing you and your forsythia ๐
So Happy you are feeling better! We are having ham and lamb and veggies and potatoes, Ham pie, rolls, Angel cake, fruit, Rice pie too.
I can’t wait to hear all about tomorrow and see the pictures. Love YOU, Mel
I am sorry to hear you have been ill. I hope you continue to improve.
Our forsythia has already bloomed and gone. It was very early this year. We’ve had unusually warm weather.
I’m happy that you’re feeling well!
Your Easter dinner sounds wonderful!
I hope you feel better too. It sounds like your Easter dinner will be to-die-for. ๐ Enjoy.

Have a great Easter. Glad you are feeling better; you’ll have lots to celebrate and your menu sounds amazing!
Prime Rib sounds good. My family always wants baked ham on Easter. It is one of those traditions they do not want me to veer away from : )
Great picture of you on deck! Happy Easter!
