Several times Once a year I sit down and allow myself to whine! Today is the day. I’ve just had one of those days that has been filled with a whole bunch of petty annoyances and I simply have to share.
- We brought Anneliese in for her ultra-sound and it was too early to see much of anything. We did sort of see two questionable “things”, but nothing that said “puppy”! *Groan”!
- I hate don’t like my new wireless mouse. It never stays on the arm of my chair. It’s fallen three or four times on the floor and I hate don’t like it! I hate dislike it so much that I am bringing it back and I have ordered a laptop mouse with a VERY short chord to use. At least this gives me protection from the mouse biting the dust!
- My chicken did not want to thaw. Consequently, we will not eat until almost 7 PM tonight. We usually eat about 6-6:30 PM, but tonight, we will eat late.
- Did I mention that I am still disappointed about Anneliese? I really am. To have gone so far and now to face the possibility of it having “not taken” has really gotten me down. Oh, I just have my fingers crossed that she is really pregnant and keeping the news all to herself!
Now on the good side.
- Tomorrow my sister, brother in-law and niece are all coming up for the 4th of July holiday!
- Also, on Sunday my cousin Janet, and Dave and Michelle and Julie are coming, along with my neighbor, Tina for a good old fashioned barbecue!
- I found a couple of nice shirts on sale at Coldwater Creek online and ordered them for myself!
- Fritz had his stitches out today and he did great! All healed!
Here is some cheese to go with that whine, little sister. Things will work out the way they are supposed to work out. If Anneleise is preggers again that will be wonderful. If not, sad for you, but it might be time she took time to get herself back in the best of health. You have so much to be joyful about and durnit which blouse did you find at Coldwater Creek? I love shopping there and there is a store not nearly far enough away from me. Aie! However, I have enjoyed buying some nice clothes this year.

You shouldn’t “allow” you to whine, just whine as much as you can that’s good for your nerves, as long as you don’t get on the nerves of people around you, lol ! We say “I got up with my left foot” that means that I will see everything in black during the day, even a blue sky !
I am not whining I am melting ! we have a heat wave more then 36 °C (over 90 F !) and we are not equipped for that at all ! Apparently last time it has happened was in 1945 !!
So glad about Fritz. I’ve loved him since I first saw him!! Whining is ok…As you know I do it all the time..Have a great holiday!!
Go ahead and whine, its good for you once and a while. We are all crossing our fingers for you and Anneliese and puppies. Hope they are in your future.
Sometimes you have to just say it like you think it – whine and all – tomorrow’s supposed to be gorgeous and I look forward to seeing everyone.
