Anneliese’s Litter…The End

Today Rob came to pick up Baerbel. He is Belle’s new forever Daddy. I’d been worried about how she would do, as she had been nervous about meeting new people since her brother, Baron left us last weekend, but Rob is so good with dogs and she is doing great with him and they are bonding already.

Still, it was hard for Hubby and I watch her go down the road. Baerbel is a truly sweet girl, and I think she is more grown up than I gave her credit for. She was ready for her new life, even if I wasn’t quite ready to let her go.

I’d spent the early part of the day taking her picture, walking her outside and cuddling with her. Ah yes, once last smell of puppy breath!

We were so happy to meet Rob and for him to meet Baerbel.

Baerbel is going to his family where there is a Mommy, and two young children to play with. How great is that! Rob and his family have many adventures planned for Baerbel. I just know she is going to have a wonderful life.

Now all the puppies have gone. We opened up the puppy room gates, washed up the floor, put the puppy pen away, and sat down. I looked back over all the pictures, patted Anneliese and thought, “Wow, what a great time this was!”

  1. Awwww. Well all those puppies are going to be loved just as you loved them. And endings bring new beginnings, right? I’m sure those won’t be the last puppies we get to see!

  2. Well, Congrats on a very successful, happy and healthy litter. You did a great job with the pups, and it seems you have found them wonderful homes!

Now on to the next (hopefully!) πŸ™‚

    Love you lots,

    Mandy

  3. OH so hard to day good-bye! Here’s to a great job with the puppies, Sis! And hopefully more on the way! Love YOU, Mel

  4. Whilst it is a sad day for you and hubby, I am sure that she is happy with her forever home, and that they are happy to have her!

BTW, laptop all fixed, and running beautifully! They replaced the hard drive, RAM, Motherboard, CPU, Video Card and the CD/DVD Drive… So it is running like new!

  5. Hopefully, the new owners will send you pics so we can still see how they are doing. I started reading your blog when you found out that Anneliese was expecting. I really enjoy your blog-it’s one I check every day.

Here’s hoping Ms. Greta is going to be giving you new puppies to love!

  6. It is always so sad to see them go. Wish we could just skip over that part. But we will do it all over in the fall………right? πŸ™‚

  7. Oh my ! the house must seem empty now ! they are all gone ! what will you do with your time now ? It will be a changement again. I saw all pictures, yesterday I was in Antwerpen to meet a blogfriend Jientje, I will write about it tomorrow, we had a great time together. It’s so funny, we just live 60 km from each other and hadn’t met yet. It was a real success ! Sometimes people can be completely different in real life then on their blogs, but here it wasn’t the case.

  8. Yea, it has been a great time, but all things must past. Thanks for taking us with through this adventures time with the puppies – it has been exciting to follow them all!

  9. Ohhhhhhhh an era ends… I’m so sorry I’ve been absent this week! It really must have been hard to set that last one free! So… how long till the puppy gates go back up now??? I know it’s not all THAT long! Just about long enough for you to catch up on sleep and maybe catch your breath too!
