My little girl isn’t so little anymore. Despite her growing belly, I look at her every day and I think maybe she isn’t really pregnant. Maybe this is one of those phantom pregnancies.
You remember me, I’m the one who always convinces myself that it’s really nothing?
Today, Bernie’s owner came up to do some paper work with me. She hadn’t seen Greta since the breeding back in October. She was amazed at how much Greta had expanded! She was really thrilled. We talked about our perspective grand puppies, and laughed and joked a lot.
She brought her little 7 month old female wire, named Vila, who just went into heat. Vila is adorable. She is a black and red wire, with much the same type of personality as my Greta. She also fell in love with Mr. Fritz and wanted nothing more than to run around the back yard with him. Sadly, as she is in heat, she is on a very short leash!
After Barbie left, I looked at Greta and snapped a few pictures of her. Looking at them, I have to agree, Greta has really gotten big!
Maybe it’s not all in my mind, after all.
She does look bigger to me. How do you get her to pose for all these shots?
She definitely is looking poochy! She is just so adorable, and yes, I have the same question…how do you get her to pose like that? What a little star, she is. LOL
She has definitely done some growing!!!!! The countdown continues….
I love the shot with her oppossum in the background. She really loves that toy!!
11 more days…. awesome
Can I say again how happy I am that the comment thingy is fixed? 🙂
We are going to end up giving Ms. Greta a complex about being fat. I just can’t wait until the puppies can come.
She has expanded because of all that motherhood pride!!!can’t wait to see those puppies!
Poor Greta. First the huge tummy, then that whole giving birth bit, and just when you think you’ve put it all behind you… sore nipples!
But the puppies will no doubt be absolutely adorable…
Great looks great. 🙂 A real little mother. Can’t wait to see the puppies when they come!
Looking at these pics and the ones on her puppy blog, it is amazing how much she’s changed. Dogs are lucky their pregnancies are so short!
