A Disaster Of Epic Proportions!

I’m thinking that something is seriously wrong with me. I just haven’t been myself. I don’t want big breakfasts with pastry or heavy breads, I don’t feel like eating too many chips and the part that really has me worried is…

I don’t want to eat any chocolate! I just have no desire or taste for it!

Now for me, not wanting to eat chocolate is like a dog refusing a juicy bone. It just isn’t right!!! Usually I walk by the candy counter and I hear the dark chocolate calling out to me, “take me home”, but lately I have gone into many stores and I just can’t hear that sweet “candy music”.

I have tried to eat a piece of the deep, dark, sweet stuff, but my taste buds decline to enjoy the delight. It just sort of tastes like dried leaves. Dark Chocolate tasting like Dried Leaves!!! That can’t be right!!!

This could be a disaster of epic proportions! Me, unable to enjoy dark chocolate?

This is unprecedented and should have Hershey’s Chocolate Company worried very much!

It could cause a decline in the cocoa market.

Yes, a disaster of epic proportions!!!

  1. If you happen to have chocs sitting in your home, send them my way! 🙂
My favorite would be a Lindt or a Ritter Sport.

  2. Well, I surely do wish this would happen to ME. Chocolate calls to me, still, loud and clear. It is my downfall, truly.

What do you suppose is going on with you, MB ???? My waistline would benefit from whatever your secret is.

  3. Oh I wish I could say that I didn’t crave chocolate! I have such a weakness for that delicacy. I had bariatric surgery last December and have only lost 105 lbs so far. I hear other people have lost 120 and 140 by now. I know if I worked at it harder I would’ve lost more weight by now.

  4. Being an All American Girl who also loves chocolate, but the milk variety exemplified in Hershey bars, I confess to enjoying dark chocolate only when covering coconut as in a “Mounds” bar. Can’t say that I really care for either dark chocolate or coconut in any other form. Is there something fundamentally wrong with me?? Maybe try a Mounds to re-stilmulate those taste buds?? Hope your taster returns to normal soon! I, too, will help take up your slack. Love, Carol

  5. ROFLMLMAO!! In the scheme of epic proportions, this post has it all!
Drama, subtle fear, dark chocolate, confusion, and the most important ingredient ~ a comical confectioner’s confession!

    You rock!

BTW ~ send any unwanted DARK chocolate my way, I’ll be happy to oblige.
