Cooking up a Storm

Today is cooking day. Hubby has taken our Old Boy to look at his New Hampshire property. So I have the house to myself. The first time since we returned from Alaska! Anyway, I have laundry going and I am cooking things that I know Old Boy can eat. I also am making some of the chicken tarragon salad that I like so much.
I’m fighting a cold, and I wound up going to bed at 9 o’clock last night just because I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. I slept until 7:30 this morning. Still coughing and the nose is running, but at least I know I am well rested.
We went to a fly-in yesterday, where all retired and aviation enthusiasts flew into a small airport near us. Many other drove. (like us)
Old Boy was the center of attention.Airpicnic Oct 3 025.jpg He was probably the oldest pilot there, and the only one to fly the Berlin Airlift. I loved seeing him enjoying himself so much!!
It was a lot of fun and I think when I counted all the small planes there, there were over 30.

Well, back to work!
