A few years ago, as I was leaving to visit Uschi in Germany, Hubby’s parting words to me were, “Don’t eat too much!” (he said this because he knows of my love for German food).
Well, the food was great and it became a joke, whenever we sat down for a meal, we took a picture and emailed it back to Hubby at home. This is a small collage of that trip and the food, glorious food, that I ate!
**Note to all** This is a true story. Not even the names have been changed to protect the guilty!
I really enjoy the german beer, so is a shame that you can not drink it, but i envy the food that you cook, so see you later !!
Ahh, food. It’s what I need right now. Poopy evening for me.
You on the other hand, are cute as a bug.
I bet you are taller than me though and will squish me like a bug if I call you that again, huh?

Such a wonderful layout, your collage is so nice. I just took my brother for German food on his birthday a couple of weeks ago….Ohhh…it was so heavenly and there was a live accordian player. The atmosphere was so relaxing.
Mine is up!
LOL
Great photo! Have a wonderful weekend. Dani
Wonderful collage (love the way you did it!) and it looks like the food and the company were just perfect!! food tastes specially good on vacation, doesn’t it? happy saturday…don’t eat too much, lol!
What a wonderful smorgasbord of food shots! Very nice presentation.
I’m off to catch up on your blog!
That is so funny about sending back the photos to your husband. My hubby said the same thing to me when I left for vacation in the States this summer! LOL
I love the collage effect of the photos. Great job!
I had a grandfather that could make HIS OWN German sausage, it was soooooooooo good.
Wow, now you got me hungry.
Mine’s posted.
What a great photo, and what a great idea…too funny, emailing all those pictures! hehe!!
Wishing you a great weekend!
It looks so good! I love all the pictures.
One of the pictures looks like it was taken at a different time than the others?? Uschi’s hair is longer. LOL!
Wow love all the pictures. Looks like you’re having a blast!
I had to laugh…everytime I go to Savannah I take pictures of our food as my kids live vicariously through the pictures. The Collage is a nice touch!
Very funny! I’ve written the MOTHER OF ALL MEME POSTS today. You’ll have to stop by!!

I haven’t had that much german food. Tell me, does a lot of it involve vinegar? I don’t like vinegar too much, but I will at least try it once! 🙂
my in-laws were German and so I’ve had a bit…and love it! (mine’s up)
What a cool collage!! Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Saturdy!
I love your collage! I’ve never been a big fan of German food but then again, I don’t know if I’ve ever eaten authentic German food more than once in my life lol!

Mine is up as well! 🙂
Looks like you had an excellent trip… food-wise at least! 😉
That’s a great collage!
I’ll bet he was livin on TV dinners while you were away too!
Yum, I don’t “do” much meat, so I’d skip that, BUT the potatoe dishes are so good. My friend Adel (do you know her Maribeth, last name then was Mrusek) is German and her grandmother lived with them. Her tradition for us neighborhood kids on the last day of school and the day before the first day of school was an apple and potato (not together) pancake party. It was all to die for, I can taste it now! Michele
That’s so funny – I would have done the same thing! 😉
Thanks for visiting mine!
Oh wow, this is a neat one. How unique. The food looks fabulous!!
I love German food – schnitzal – bratwurst and a nice cold beer. That’s like a bit o’ heaven.
Great collage! German food is awesome! MMM. I’m originally from Cincinnati and we had some great German restaurants…with the German background of the area…I sure miss them!
Take care!!
Mine’s up finally too
I don’t think I’ve ever ate German food… LOL at the note!! hehe You’re too cute!
Oh I know how you feel about German food!
When I lived in Germany we would hit a local restaurant every Sunday.
I also like the fact that the big cities like Berlin have a large number of restaurants of international fare.
I believe I had the best of every cuisine in Germany!

I haven’t had any German food since Mysterious Lady and I were in Epcot last year. The food there was great. Sure looks good.

When my husband and I went away last year, I was always taking photos of the food we ate – he thought I was a bit odd! Great collage 🙂
Great collage and that food looks awfully yummy.
How can he expect you to go on a trip like that and NOT eat? Love the collage
Hehe, that’s funny 😀 Humour always makes life easier – and funnier!
Thanks for stopping by my place 🙂
Great collage! I have never eaten authentic German food. Is it very rich or bland? Thanks for visiting me.
