A stranger called me tonight and wants to buy one of my babies!
I talked to him for a long time. He seemed nice, lives in the next town, would allow me to visit, and best of all he wants to do tracking work and field work with the pup.
However, it suddenly hit me. My beautiful, sweet babies are going to be “sold” (doesn’t that word sound harsh?), to strangers and leave me! They won’t just be jumping up on my bed with me and cuddling down and staying here forever.
Now, I knew all along that this was the case. I told myself, I would not get attached!, but I have. I go in there and I pick each one of them up and they kiss my face. Today I sat next to the whelping box and all of the puppies came running over to where I was sitting! It was the cutest thing!!!
The puppies are also eating now. That is really funny to watch. They pushed their noses into the dish at first, but quickly got around to licking. Just too cute!
Oh how I am enjoying this! My wonderful Greta and my wonderful babies!!!!
At least I don’t have to say good bye tomorrow.
I wondered about you getting attached Maribeth. I know I would too. I guess you’re just going to have to enjoy them while you can and then cry your heart out…mmmmm
Awww, I can imagine that would be so hard. I am excited to meet the puppies!!
It is better to have loved and said good-bye than to never have loved at all, but I don’t want them to leave you either. I’ll miss everyone of them so I can only imagine how you’ll feel.
Give them lots of kisses for me.
This is the very reason why I didn’t have Felisha breed. I love furry animals way too much and I know I would feel the same way as you do.
Good news is, that you already found a home for one but I know it will be hard for you to let go as well.

Just starting my day with some “Kashi Go Lean” cereal here at work–another one of my quasi-diet things–eat a good breakfast! This is great cereal (not sure if it is in line with your diet, but it is very good!)

I cant even imagine. I was attached and I was only there for two hours! Maybe when you have the next litter I’ll be home with a wee one and i can steal a baby!
sounds like a good home…and not too far away, so maybe you’d be able to see the pup from time to time!
That must be sooooo hard!!!One thing is to think and make a plan. But those pups are the cutest thing, it is impossible not to get attached to them!
