I am happy to announce that I lost one and a half pounds this week at Weight Watchers, bringing me even closer to my goal weight. Will I get there before we leave for our cruise? I sure hope so!
I also went to Boston for an appointment with my corneal surgeon. All is well with my right eye, but my left eye has a few problems. Thus I will be seeing my retinal surgeon in two weeks.
It’s funny, I always thought an eye was an eye, but it turns out that there are specialists for almost every part of your eye!
As we returned home, what did we spy? SNOW! I couldn’t believe it, although it certainly was cold enough. We didn’t have any accumulation, but he flurries were quite pretty and a very clear reminder that winter is on it’s way.
Snow ???? Already ? How awful ! Remember last winter, you had snow for a VERY long time ! Here it is cold, unusually cold for the season. As long as the sun is shining I don’t care.

I was wondering if you would see any snow up there…. No luck last night with the place in Somerville. Decent layout, terrible neighborhood, and on-street parking only. Also looked at an apt in Lincoln yesterday. Loved the town, but the apt was a little under 1000 sq feet, so not enough room for our furniture and stuff! If I could have moved the Somerville apt to Lincoln, we’d be in business!

I think I FOUND your 1.5 pounds! It’s okay! They’re very comfortable here with all the other ones I’m babysitting! I’ll watch ’em for ya for a little while… *sigh*

We are very familiar around here with the glaucoma part of the eye. Mike has glaucoma and has had laser and regular surgery for it. Been on drops for years. Both kids have increased eye pressures too, but not high enough to treat yet. We’re just keeping an eye on them (pun intended!)

Even Spain got snow this time!! we are freezing!!!

We have snow in Oslo, Norway too. Maybe we’ll have a real good and snowy winter this year – about time.

I am surprised at all the snow around this fall. WE had snow and it stayed!!!! I hope your eye is well and doesn’t disturb your cruise plans. My Dad had a detached retina, and it runs in the family so I have to watch my baby blues too. As long as you are taking care of yourself, that is the important part!
